I knew from the first initial phone call with Erin that I was in good hands. I came to the table feeling lost in many areas of my life and just seeking out real guidance and gain strength to make some big decisions about my life. We spoke briefly and I set up my first session- the first of many! I spent 8+ months working with Erin. I had never been to a 'life coach' before but had spent plenty of time in therapy in the past...Her skills and insight were so tuned-in to what I was dealing with. I felt truly heard and felt safe when I was vulnerable, facing things deep inside me I hadn't faced before. I always left my sessions feeling lighter and just ready to take on the world! I am now living on the west coast and finding my way out here. I carry with me the tools Erin helped build with me and I know my life has changed for the better. She had such an intuitive heart and really cares. Its so rare to find that these days, even with the people closest to us! I've mentioned this to her before but I always "wish I could carry around a mini Erin in my pocket". But she really has helped me and I feel stronger, empowered, and walk through life a little bit lighter.

I worked with Erin during a difficult transition and she provided expert and compassionate coaching that got me back on track with my goals and helped me to gain the confidence needed to pursue my goals. I greatly looked forward to my coaching sessions as they always left me feeling uplifted and inspired. I highly recommend Erin to anyone needing encouragement and a gentle push in the right direction. she truly reflected back my light when I was going through a dark period and for this I am forever grateful!

Erin is the best! I have learned so much from Erin Bishop. She is incredibly wise and brings a wealth of experience with mindfulness, meditation, coaching and life to all of her workshops and coaching sessions. She is insightful and intuitive, and she can get to the heart of the matter quickly and effectively. Erin is also infinitely caring, warm and her heart is generous, which creates a safe environment to explore vulnerabilities and blocks, thereby opening the way to evolution and growth. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Erin came into my life at a time when chaos and drama were the norm and I was unsure how to pull myself out of the hole I'd created. Her presence was calming and thoughtful and I was almost immediately able to open up. She was there to listen without judgment, which I appreciated, and also gave valuable feedback that didn't feel at all cookie cutter or rehearsed. She looked at the situation from a variety of angles that I just couldn't (and wouldn't) see and guided me toward possible solutions. I felt empowered, ultimately the decision was mine, but I felt as those someone had my back, was in my corner. Looking back, I made some incredibly tough decisions, and learned that my happiness was just as important as everyone else's. And I owe a lot to Erin for helping to guide me to such an amazingly freeing realization.

Working with Erin is a continued blessing. She is a stand for individual deep inner work. With hand in hand like that of a close friend, she lovingly and courageously walks along with her clients on their path (no matter how rocky or dark) of inner discovery. She coaches her clients in ways that are direct and honest and shows that we are miracles. Erin hears the calling of living in true expression and guides her clients to hear their song and make authentic living a reality.

Hello Dear Ones! I am your coach, your partner and your biggest advocate of self-discovery, healing and change. That’s what you are looking for right? Something doesn’t feel right, there is more out there and you want something different – anything, just to not feel stuck or complacent. I hear you. I share the same story. In my former career I was a Human Resources professional of almost 15 years. I loved it, then something shifted – I no longer enjoyed it, struggled with getting to work in the morning, and felt stuck. So I took the leap, and A Breath of Wellness was founded in 2015. It was a dream I was working on while still working 60+ hours a week in a job I no longer appreciated. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. In the latter 5 years of my HR career, I was dedicated to my staff, my employees, and my management team. My goal was to coach them in developing happiness, emotional health and balanced productivity in the workplace, and I did. It was the best part of my work day! My coaching style today is molded from my HR experience, my own practice of mindfulness and conscious breathing and my passion in curiosity. My mission is to build a partnership that reveals an opening by way of life coaching, mindfulness and breathwork. With an integrative approach you are invited to uncover truth and purpose of a meaningful life. My vision is to bring awareness to my clients to take a bow to the inner self and to be present and mindful in every moment.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Frostburg State University, a Master’s degree in Health and Wellness Coaching & Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health, and have completed over 800 hours in training at the Inspiration Consciousness School, as a Breathworker. Life has been my greatest teacher, where experience gives me happiness, joy and freedom to be a beginner in every moment. I would love to share my gift with you.
Love + Light,

What is Integrative Coaching?
Life Coaching is a co-creation partnership where client is supported in a safe, neutral, non-judgmental environment, and given the opportunity to overcome fear, self-doubt and limiting behavior patterns. Within this partnership we integrate a model of consciousness called Breathwork that creates new breathing patterns that open an opportunity to build new behavior patterns that build confidence, supports positive living and heals trauma. It uses the power of the breath and positive verbal communication to integrate new patterns of behavior so that the client can move forward with dreams, inspirations and goals.
The key here is that with the Integration of Breathwork and Coaching the client get from where they are to where they want to be much more rapidly.
How does Integrative Coaching work?
Coaching works because it allows you to focus on exactly what you want to achieve and gets you there faster. You are an expert on you, and I am an expert in the coaching process. We go through life constantly busy ‘doing things’, but very rarely do we stop and consider our future, and where we want to be. In working with a life coach, you are able to do just that, with a coach who is 100% dedicated to you and your future. I will listen, encourage, support and motivate you. Together we can keep you focused and, through my experience and expertise, you will be able to identify options available to you, that you may not have ever considered.
How long are the coaching sessions?
Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes, with the added process of breathwork the session can last up to 90 minutes.
How many coaching sessions will I need?
For maximum benefit 6 - 10 sessions are recommended. Most people come to me with a life changing goal in mind. In order to achieve this we look at smaller goals, that need to be achieved each session, to move you closer to your overall goal. For some this may take as little as 6 sessions and for others it will be more. It is a very personal decision based on your individual goal.
Where does the coaching take place?
We have 3 options to coaching, face to face, via phone, or video conferencing. In the majority of cases the coaching will take place face to face. This has proven to be the most convenient way for individuals to integrate into new breathing patterns. Sessions can be done via phone and video conferencing and usually after a relationship has formed and client is established in conscious breathing.
How much does it cost?
Coaching is an investment, in YOU, and is a very small price to pay for the life changing experience that you desire. There are several packages to choose from. For more information on services and pricing click here.
What will I have to do?
To get the best from life coaching, you need a positive attitude towards the achievement of your goal, to be totally open, trusting and honest within the coaching relationship, and the time and commitment to complete the actions that you will set for yourself at the end of each session. These actions are what will move you closer to your overall goal. Ultimately your level of commitment will directly influence the speed and extent to which your goals will be realised. To help you with all of this, I will provide boundless motivation, support and encouragement within a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
What are the benefits of Life Coaching?
The benefits are having someone that is solely dedicated to you and the achievement of your goals. They are non-judgemental, supportive, encouraging and motivating just when you need it. They keep you focussed on where you want to be and moving forward in the right direction. They will enable you to get to where you want to be in life, much faster than you could on your own. You will also experience stress, anxiety relief as produced by new breathing patterns.
How is Integrative Coaching different from therapy or counselling?
Coaching and counselling are similar in the sense that both counselors, therapists, and coaches ask the client questions, sometimes requiring a lot of soul-searching. Neither a counsellor nor a coach will give advice but they will listen to what you say and direct the conversation with further pertinent questions. However, whereas the typical counselling or therapy session will be dealing with emotions and issues in the past affecting the present, the coaching relationship is focussed on the future and deals with optimising the opportunities in your life for you to ultimately achieve greater happiness.
