October is “National Emotional Wellness Month.” During the second week of October, we will focus on the diaphragm which is the primary muscle of the respiratory system, followed by conscious connected breathing (Integrative Breathwork).

Breathwork is an ancient 2 stage pranayama yoga, an active meditation that opens the flow of energy into your body. Explore and practice breathing rhythms to gain the ability to draw in more acceptance, gratitude and love into your life. Breathing consciously assists you in letting go of fear, anxiety and judgement.

Using music, guided visualization and the hum of the singing bowls you are provided a container to journey into yourself. Once you learn this breathing technique you can practice it on your own and continue to use it as a healing tool. Please bring a yoga mat, small blanket, water and an open mind.
